SQL Developer
Description
Excel Nearshore is seeking an experienced SQL Developer to join our team on a part-time basis (20 hours a week) for a 4-month project. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in T-SQL and MS SQL Server, with the ability to support development and data integration tasks. Familiarity with Snowflake and SSIS is a plus. This is a fully remote position from Costa Rica.
Responsibilities
- Design, write, and optimize complex T-SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Maintain and enhance existing MS SQL Server databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements. and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Support debugging and performance tuning of SQL queries.
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience as a SQL Developer.
- Strong hands-on experience with T-SQLand MS SQL Server (SSMS).
- Working knowledge of SSIS(nice to have).
- Experience with Snowflake(nice to have).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a part-time, remote role.
- Good communication skills in English.
