DevSecOps Engineer
Description
Excel Nearshore is seeking an aspiring DevSecOps Engineer or Developer to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years background in DevSecOps practices and be proficient in using Azure DevOps (ADO) or Nexus IQ, or SonarQube. This role requires a customer service-oriented mindset, as you will be working closely with various stakeholders to ensure the security and efficiency of their development processes. This is a fully remote and full-time position from Costa Rica, in payroll with benefits.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage DevSecOps practices to ensure secure and efficient software development.
- Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) for CI/CD pipeline management and automation.
- Integrate and manage Nexus IQ for software composition analysis and vulnerability management.
- Use SonarQube to perform static code analysis and ensure code quality.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Continuously improve and optimize DevSecOps processes and tools.
Qualifications
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or equivalent.
- Experience with AppSec tools like Nexus IQ, and SonarQube.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
