Brian Hildreth

COO

With a strong track record in operational leadership and IT delivery, Brian Hildreth serves as Chief Operating Officer at Excel Nearshore. He owns the company’s operating cadence, driving value-based outcomes across both staff augmentation and managed platform services from Costa Rica. Brian specializes in taking outcome-level ownership of complex enterprise environments, including Oracle EBS, Salesforce, and supporting infrastructure, while embedding senior engineering talent directly inside client teams. His strategic focus centers on scaling managed services and introducing AI-augmented delivery methods that raise productivity and SLA performance across all engagements. Brian is dedicated to helping leaders weigh nearshore strategies and build high-impact, long-term delivery partnerships.

Cory Schumacher

Vice President of Operations

Cory is Vice President of Operations at Excel Nearshore, where he focuses on driving operational excellence, delivery quality, and measurable value for clients. He brings 25+ years of enterprise technology and operations leadership, with a strong track record building high-performing, cross-functional teams, leading complex transformation initiatives, and aligning technology investments with business outcomes. Cory is passionate about applying that same operational rigor to help Excel Nearshore’s clients scale efficiently and achieve their goals.

Jose Fernández

Director of Managed Services

José is Director of Managed Services at Excel Nearshore, where he leads enterprise application and technology support operations across complex customer environments. He brings over 15 years of experience in enterprise technology, customer success, project management, and service delivery, including more than eight years at Oracle managing strategic enterprise accounts. José focuses on operational excellence, customer relationships, and measurable service performance, using data and KPIs to identify opportunities, strengthen delivery, and resolve complex operational challenges. His experience spans enterprise platforms including Oracle E-Business Suite, Salesforce, cloud technologies, and business applications. José is committed to building strong teams, creating clear accountability, and delivering reliable technology services that support customer success and long-term growth.

Paola Quesada

Director of Human Resources

With over a decade of experience across both public and private sectors, Paola Quesada has built a strong career in administrative management, innovation, and strategic leadership. She began her journey in the public sector, focusing on improving internal processes and operational efficiency. She later moved into the tech industry, where she led innovation projects, drove digital transformation, and promoted the use of technology to enhance performance. As HR Manager, she led key initiatives in talent development, organizational growth, and company culture. Her strategic approach led to her appointment as Director, where she now oversees cross-functional coordination, strategic planning, and executive decision-making. Paola’s leadership continues to drive company growth with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and people-first development.

Aaron Acuña

Human Talent Director

Aaron is our Senior Recruiter, overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Costa Rica development center. He brings over 20 years of experience in IT recruitment across Latin America, the United States, and Europe. With a background in Psychology and Web Development, Aaron combines technical knowledge with strong insight into people, helping him identify and hire top-tier talent. Since joining Excel Nearshore in 2012, he has played a key role in building high-performing teams.

Jorge Murillo

Technical General Manager

Jorge is a Senior Software Solutions Architect with extensive experience helping companies build and maintain their software systems. He joined Excel Nearshore in 2006 with 10 years of software development experience and is now a technical team lead, contributing to the success of one of our long-term clients. With 19 years at Excel, Jorge also serves as our Technical General Manager, overseeing secure connectivity with client development environments. He is the Compliance Program Manager and leads the supervision and management of our information security program. Jorge is a well-respected and trusted member of the Excel Nearshore family.
