Full-Stack Developer
Description

Excel Nearshore is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to join a leading company in the legal technology industry. In this role, you will develop and enhance software solutions, contribute to architecture and design discussions, and collaborate with the development team throughout the Agile process. The ideal candidate has strong PHP and Node.js experience, solid knowledge of PostgreSQL, MVC frameworks, RESTful APIs, and modern server-side technologies, as well as familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and AI tools for software development. This is a fully remote position.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new features and enhancements.
  • Contribute to software architecture and design discussions.
  • Actively participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team environment.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in full-stack development, ideally with PHP and Node.js.
  • Strong background in object-oriented programming using PHP.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience writing complex SQL queries and designing database schemas with PostgreSQL.
  • Hands-on experience with MVC frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or Lumen.
  • Familiarity with modern server-side technologies, including Redis, Memcached, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, or Solr.
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with leveraging AI tools and integrating AI-driven solutions into development workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify functional or performance issues and proactively implement effective solutions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A strong commitment to quality, innovation, and collaborative teamwork.
