QA Engineer
Description

Excel Nearshore is looking for a QA Engineer to support the final phase of a strategic B2B e-commerce implementation. In this role, you will test storefront functionality and validate data flowing through existing integrations with SAP ERP and InRiver PIM, including orders, inventory, pricing, and product data, helping identify issues before they reach customers. This is a fully remote and full-time position.

Responsibilities
  • Test new features, enhancements, and bug fixes across the VTEX IO storefront.
  • Validate data integrity across SAP and InRiver integration points (orders, inventory, pricing, product data).
  • Design and execute test cases/ plans covering storefront flows (browsing, cart, checkout, account/ quote workflows).
  • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution, working closely with the Developer and Team Lead.
  • Perform regression testing ahead of releases to confirm existing functionality isn't broken by new work.
  • Flag discrepancies between storefront data and upstream SAP/ InRiver source data.
Qualifications

Requirements

  • Prior QA experience on an ecommerce platform, ideally VTEX or a comparable headless commerce platform.
  • Comfort validating data flows between a storefront and backend systems (ERP/PIM), not just UI-level testing.
  • Experience writing and executing structured test cases/ plans.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
  • Strong English communication skills for direct collaboration with the Team Lead and, as needed, the client’s team.

Nice to Have

  • Experience testing SAP-integrated or InRiver-integrated commerce platforms specifically.
  • Familiarity with B2B commerce testing scenarios (account hierarchies, contract pricing, quote workflows).
  • Prior experience in a nearshore/ distributed delivery model.
