Excel Nearshore is seeking a Senior / Mid-Level AI-Enabled Full Stack Engineer to join a product development team that is building a next-generation engineering environment centered on AI-driven development practices. This team leverages modern AI tools such as Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and significantly increase automated test coverage. The role is intended for engineers who actively integrate AI into their daily workflow—using it to write and refine production-ready code, generate and improve unit tests, and support test-driven development practices. The position operates within an embedded Agile team working directly with a U.S.-based product group.

In this role, engineers are expected to work with AI tools as a regular part of the development process. This includes prompting AI systems to generate classes and methods from defined inputs and outputs, produce meaningful unit tests, refactor legacy code, and improve overall code readability and maintainability. Candidates should be comfortable validating and refining AI-generated output, ensuring that quality and engineering standards are maintained. The team views AI as a way to increase productivity and strengthen engineering practices while maintaining strong technical judgment and ownership.
