QA Automation Engineer
Description
Excel Nearshore is looking for a skilled Junior or Mid-Level Automation QA Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. You will work closely with developers and product teams to improve testing efficiency and enhance overall software quality.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Design, implement, and maintain test frameworks in JavaScript/TypeScript and SQL.
- Use Visual Studio Code as the primary development environment.
- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects early in the development cycle.
- Ensure automation coverage across functional, regression, and integration tests.
- Provide test reports and improve testing strategies for continuous quality improvement.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in automation testing.
- API Testing
- Experience with CI-CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and
- Hands-on experience with
- Familiarity with test automation best practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Knowledge of API testing and performance testing tools.
